Join us for the world-premiere of a new multidisciplinary, solo theater work
created & performed by Candy Simmons.

with special appearance by Parker Genné

& movement direction/choreography by Tamara Ober

We all gotta go some day, but for Lucille ‘some day’ is now.  Through a multi-character performance, layering traditional monologue, video, and movement, we experience the story of a young woman struggling with the realities of a terminal diagnosis. An unsentimental, darkly comedic and often irreverent peek into
the approach of the end of one's life.

Following the two-week Minneapolis run, EXPIRATION DATE will be seeking touring opportunities within hospitals, hospices, and other interested communities across the US. If you would like to host a performance of EXPIRATION DATE within your community we’d like to hear from you.

Sunday, April 1 @ 3:00pm **

Thursday, April 5 @ 7:30pm

** In keeping with the community outreach objective, Candy is pleased to announce a Health Care Directive workshop will be offered free to the community following the Sunday, April 1 performance. This workshop is made possible through a partnership with Honoring Choices Minnesota, an effort of the Twin Cities Medical Society and its Foundation to encourage families and communities to have discussions regarding end-of-life care choices. An Ambassador from Honoring Choices will be on hand to distribute information, answer questions about these important documents and also offer participants an opportunity to leave with a complete and notarized Health Care Directive.
